Entertainment Weekly has revealed a first look at the stars of “Terminator: Genisys” reboot in character for the magazine. The two covers show Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, Jason Clarke as John Connor and Matt Smith as a currently unspecified ally of Connor’s.
The film is a new take on the franchise, directed by Alan Taylor, and is meant to be the first of a planned trilogy. Similarly to the original, it follows John Connor as leader of the Skynet resistance as he sends soldier Reese back in time to save his mother Sarah Connor and ensure John’s birth. Arnold Schwarzenegger also stars, reprising his role as the Terminator himself.
“Terminator: Genisys” is set for release in July 2015. Check out the images below for a first glimpse of the characters as depicted for the reboot.
