Fox brought a lot of cool footage from “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” to WonderCon, and fortunately a lot of that footage has now been released online in the form of the newest trailer released from the sequel to “Rise of the Planet of the Apes.”
Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman and Keri Russell lead the human element of the films that are increasingly dominated by Ceasar (Andy Serkis) and his crew (“It’s the planet of the apes, not the planet of the humans and apes,” says director Matt Reeves), though nobody wants an all out war just yet. So the humans and apes attempt to maintain some peace, but it seems it may last long despite good intentions on both sides.
“Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” will be released on July 11th.
